Role Overview
Large industrial and energy projects depend on highly skilled professionals who can maintain quality, safety, and operational excellence. Quality Control Inspectors and Supervisors ensure that fabrication, welding, piping, and coating activities meet technical standards and project specifications. Welding Supervisors and Welders carry out and oversee critical welding operations that form the backbone of industrial construction. Scaffolding Supervisors manage safe access systems that allow work to be performed at height, while Safety Officers safeguard the workforce by enforcing safety procedures and preventing accidents. Together, these roles form a vital workforce that ensures projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Control Inspectors and Supervisors are responsible for monitoring work activities, inspecting materials, verifying compliance with drawings, and preparing technical reports. Welding Supervisors oversee welding teams, coordinate daily activities, and ensure procedures are followed correctly. SS and CS Welders perform TIG and ARC welding in multiple positions, ensuring strong and accurate joints. Scaffolding Supervisors plan, inspect, and supervise scaffolding erection and dismantling, ensuring structural stability and safety. Safety Officers conduct site inspections, identify hazards, enforce the use of PPE, and support emergency preparedness. All positions require close coordination with site management and adherence to project procedures.
Skills and Competencies
Candidates should have relevant experience in their respective fields within industrial or oil & gas projects. QC professionals must be familiar with inspection techniques, documentation, and quality standards. Welders should have strong practical skills in TIG and ARC welding and the ability to read technical drawings. Supervisory roles require leadership ability, communication skills, and problem-solving capability. Safety Officers must have solid knowledge of industrial safety regulations and risk management. Across all roles, attention to detail, reliability, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety and quality are essential.
